Microsoft's Virtual Earth - nice try..

I've just been playing around with Microsoft's attempt to compete with Google Earth
, or even Google Maps .

I have to say, that Microsoft's attempt is pretty poor. The interface was a little sticky, and not as smooth and free-flowing as Google's. Also, I noticed that all the images I tried to view, were very outdated. Some were at least 10 years old, whereas Google's images seem to be much more up-to-date (within a few years most of the time).


So far, I'm not impressed.
